  • 1. WHAT ARE THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR EXAM REGISTRATION IN MOROCCO?

    To register for a driving license examination, you must submit a complete application package to the registration center in your area of residence. Typically, Aissaoui Driving School handles this process for our students. Your application package must include:

    ✓ Application Form: A special printed form, properly stamped and signed by the candidate

    ✓ National ID Card: A certified copy of your national identity card

    ✓ Payment Receipt: Proof of payment for stamp duties and service fees as required by current legislation

    ✓ Medical Certificate: A medical certificate issued within the last three months by a doctor approved by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Transport, certifying your fitness to drive

    ✓ Training Completion Certificate: Proof of completed training for the requested license category from an approved driving education establishment

    ✓ Identity Photos: Two recent front-facing color photos, 3.5cm x 4.5cm format on white background

    ✓ Existing License Copy: A copy of your current license in case of category extension

    ✓ Road Safety Education Certificate: Required if your license was revoked after probation period due to point loss

    ✓ License Return Receipt: Copy of the license return acknowledgment to the competent service in case of revocation

  • 2. WHAT IS THE APPLICATION SUBMISSION PROCESS FOR THE DRIVING LICENSE IN MOROCCO

    Your complete application package must be submitted to the registration center in your area of residence. Upon successful submission, you will receive an examination appointment notice specifying the exact date and time of your test.

  • 3. EXAMINATION OVERVIEW IN MOROCCO

    he driving license examination is designed to assess your theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for safe vehicle operation. The exam consists of two main components:

    THEORETICAL TEST: Computer-based knowledge assessment

    PRACTICAL TEST: On-road driving skills evaluation

  • 4. THEORETICAL EXAMINATION DETAILS ?

    The theoretical examination is a computer-based oral test covering road code knowledge and traffic rules. Questions are presented via computer and focus on:

    • Road Signage Rules: Traffic signs, traffic lights, road markings

    • Traffic Rules: Speed limits, overtaking, right of way, parking regulations

    • Required Documents: Mandatory documents and accessories for drivers and vehicles

    EXAMINATION PROCESS:

    • Candidate Reception: The driving license inspector welcomes candidates and groups them for examination room entry

    • Instructions: Before starting, the examiner explains how to answer questions using the remote control

    • Question Selection: Computer randomly selects questions for each candidate

    • Answering: Candidates respond using remote controls, pressing numbers corresponding to correct answers

    • Grading: Automatic correction system evaluates responses at the end of the session

    QUESTION REQUIREMENTS:

    – Category B (Car): 40 questions required

    – Categories A, C, D, E: 46 questions required

    PASSING REQUIREMENTS:

    • Category B: Minimum 30 correct answers out of 40

    • Categories A, C, D, E: Minimum 36 correct answers out of 46

    Note: Failed candidates must retake the test after 15 days.

  • 5. PRACTICAL DRIVING EXAMINATION

    The practical examination consists of driving tests in a closed circuit and on public roads. The examiner will ask public order questions and evaluate your ability to perform essential driving maneuvers based on your theoretical knowledge.

    REQUIRED DRIVING SKILLS:

    • Driver Position: Proper seating, starting, reverse driving, gear shifting

    • Hill Start: Starting the vehicle on an incline

    • Three-Point Turn: Executing a U-turn in limited space

    • Traffic Navigation: Turning, crossing, overtaking, intersection navigation

    • Parking Skills: Parallel parking between vehicles, stopping procedures

    EXAMINATION RESULTS:

    SUCCESS: You’ll receive a provisional license valid for 2 years after paying local taxes.

    LICENSE EXCHANGE: At expiration, the provisional license is exchanged for a permanent one, unless you’ve committed traffic violations.

    IMPORTANT: Failed candidates will be scheduled for a retest within 15 days.
