allows you to safely ride light motorcycles and 3-wheel scooters up to 125 cc, ideal for younger drivers or urban commuters.
The B license is the most popular permit in Morocco for driving cars and light commercial vehicles (≤ 3,500 kg), available from age 18.
The A license is your ticket to riding any motorcycle or 3-wheel scooter above 125 cc. It includes all privileges of A1 and is accessible from age 18.

This mainly depends on your availability and commitment to attending theory classes, practicing for the driving test, and scheduling driving lessons regularly. Our advice for the theory test is to visit the driving school as often as possible — ideally daily — and continue practicing at home when you can’t attend. Avoid long breaks during your learning process for the best results.
You must meet the legal minimum age before applying for a driving license in Morocco:-------16 years old for category A1 vehicles -------18 years old for categories A, B, and E(B) vehicles.--------21 years old for categories C, D, E(C), and E(D) vehicles---------Note: 21 years is also required to drive a category B vehicle used for public passenger transport.
Driving Guidelines
Keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you and avoid tailgating
Follow the speed limit and adjust your speed according the road conditions.
Use your turn signal before changing lane or turning and check your blind spots.
Wear your seat belt and make sure your passengers do the same
Avoid distractions such as using your phone, eating, drinking the while driving
Drive sober and drug-free and avoid driving when you are tired or drowsy
Practice defensive driving by being alert, cautiou and courteous
Know the local traffic laws and signs and follow them accordingly
